"The boy who lived"
1.The first book i ever read. I remember how i loathed reading books, and also the people who used to read them. For me they were nothing but geeks! And then i read Harry Potter and got totally mesmerized by it. That magical world, become my world.
2. Probably the simplicity of its language. *sigh ! Unlike other books, understanding Harry Potter was really a child's play. It thankfully did not have those high vocab, which could have been hard for me to perceive, since i was really small, when i started reading it.
3. HOGWARTS. Even till date i think its the school that fantasizes me more then any character, which even includes my very own LORD VOLDEMORT. The school, is definitely every child's dream school. God ! those grounds where i could just walk around having the time of my life, doing any stupid magic, Ha ! i think i'm having those jittery feelings even while thinking about it. It is that one school, whose uniform would be something i would die to wear.
4. Quidditch. Okay, now i've to give it up for J.K.Rowling. Who could convert a witchy associated thing to suchaaa GAME. It was THE BEST. Then came Goblet Of Fire, and then the international quidditch tournament and KRUM. Omgg !! Every moment of the match was as exciting as watching India play the world cup, and trust me here i'm not exaggerating.
5. As i'm going on about all these, how could i miss Harry, Ron, Hermione !! Their friendship <3 ! i think i've grown up with them, reading there stories, and having a magical childhood. There is so many things bout them to mention, that its just not enough.
6. The small-huge-weird-sweet imaginary creatures. From the tiny-cute elfs, to not-so-big Hagrid ( just kidding ) from the white-unicorns to miss norris, from mad-eye-moody's eyes to dementors, from griphook to the wacky-goblins, from peeves to thestrals , from nagini to boggarts and so manyyy to mention.
7. Who-should-not-be-named. As the sequels started realizing, the darkness of you-know-who also started to intensify. I remember his first look on tv, standing on 9 3/4 station with that black cloak and as pale as death face. I was awestruck. I must agree it was way beyond what i'd imagined reading the book, probably the only character the directer did full justice too.
8. Albus Dumbledore. Enough said.
9. Way of showing off. By the time i grew up, i really took pride in saying i know all bout Harry Potter. Ah! fighting and looking down on people who used to call themselves fans just caz they had seen the movies. Those never ending discussions about how could the movie be better, and the not-so-right things shown in the movie. Shit ! gone are those days when i eagerly used to wait for the movies and books to be released :(
Gryffindor is red, Ravenclaw is blue. Insult Harry Potter, I'll crucio you.
okhay ! so that was what i was talking about. Now i'm sooo much into it, that all i need now is READ A BOOK NOW !!
